Electronic Cigarette Review The Truth
Hey it’s Christine here. Thanks for visiting my site. I’m writing this post today to talk about the electronic cigarette and my experience with it. I bought and tried 8 different brands of e cigarettes and in all honesty wasn’t impressed with any of them until I came across a company called Green Smoke. Click Here to checkout Green Smoke’s website.
But I’m getting a bit ahead of myself here. Let me start off at the beginning by saying that I was a smoker for 17 years. I’d tried giving up countless times but could never get past a week without smoking. It was like there was a rope always pulling me back. I just couldn’t give up. Do you know the feeling?
I desperately wanted to give up for my health and for my children. Plus I constantly stunk of cigarette smoke or so my children would tell me.
Anyway I know you’re busy and I’m rambling on so I’m going to try and keep this short for you. I saw an ad on the net for electric cigarettes and was very impressed. Apparently according to the ad it could give me the nicotine I need and it looked and felt like a cigarette plus it produced vapor like smoke that tasted like cigarettes but it contained no tar, carbon monoxide or any of the thousands of cancer causing chemicals. With e cigarettes all you inhale is water, nicotine and flavouring.
So excitedly I ordered the starter package for $112 and because the company looked reputable I paid without any worries but to cut a long story short it was rubbish. When I’d change the cartridges liquid would leak out in my mouth when I was trying to smoke it which made for a bad experience. So this was the beginning of my journey.
In the past year I’ve tried about 8 other companies and have had the same problem with the cartridges leaking in my mouth which made the thing useless. I think in total I spent around $1,000 on these electronic cigarettes only to find myself smoking a real cancer causing cigarette at the end of the day. I did manage to get a refund on a few of them but that wasn’t the point. it wasn’t about the money.
And then by a stroke of luck while I was searching for e-cigarettes on the net I came across Green Smokes website. And I kind of instantly knew after reading the info on their site in the first 5 minutes that this was just the electronic cigarette I was looking for. The reason is because the cartridges on Green Smokes product are different and don’t allow for any leakages according to the information on the site.
So within half an hour of visiting the Green Smoke electronic cigarette site I’d ordered the starter kit. I was also excited because they give you a choice of flavours. I ordered some strawberry, apple, menthol, chocolate, tobacco Marlboro and regular tobacco flavors. I also ordered a case for the kit which you can find in the accessories section.
Anyway everything came in around 3 days. I’m in the US but apparently they deliver world wide.
Now I’m going to get to the point here and say that you have to get this if you’re a smoker. Seriously I don’t want to sound like a salesman here but I got my Green Smoke starter kit around a month ago and since then I haven’t had a single “real” cigarette. I absolutely love it. It produces a lot of vapor like a real cigarette but because it’s only water, nicotine and flavoring it disappears after a couple of seconds. Which means I can smoke my electronic cigarette indoors and not worry about second hand smoke around my children. Legally because it’s not a cigarette I can also smoke it in hospitals, planes and restaurants etc because it’s harmless to myself and others around me. But in all honesty out of politeness I probably wouldn’t smoke it in a hospital anyway. but it’s nice to know I could.
.
But most importantly I can now get the nicotine I need in a way that feels like smoking, looks like smoking and tastes like smoking but isn’t smoking. Also I know I said earlier it’s not about the money but using the electronic cigarette green smoke is actually a lot cheaper because each cartridge is the equivalent of 30 cigarettes but each green smoke cartridge costs around $2-3. So even though it costs money to buy the starter kit in the long run you’re saving a lot of money.
Anyway I’m so impressed with the Green Smoke electronic cigarette. I just can’t praise it enough. I personally believe this thing will save lives which is why I’ve bought a starter kit for my husband and have recommended it to my friends and family members who smoke. I’ve also been in contact with Green Smoke telling them how much I love their product and that I’ve been recommending it to people and because of this they’ve given me a discount code I can give out to people so they can get 10% off on all orders over $100 or £100. I’ve highlighted the code in green below.

Tips To Help You Quit Smoking
Everyone knows that smoking and second hand smoke for that matter is dangerous. It causes everything from asthma to cancer. It’s not easy to quit smoking though because although it is a habit it also is and addiction to nicotine. It’s no wonder electric cigarettes are becoming so popular. There are a few things to do to make it a little easier to quit though.
The first thing you should do is make a plan, plan the day you are going to quit. Plan a system of rewards for yourself, make a list of phone numbers of people you can call when the urge for a cigarette becomes almost uncontrollable and make a list of alternative things you can do instead of smoke when the urge for a cigarette hits you. One thing you can do is to checkout e-cigarettes. I’ll be talking about them in a few days. Remember to print out this list and put it somewhere you can always find it easily.
Think about what is motivating you to quit. You do not want to forget why you are quitting. Is it for your health, your children or that you can start running again and get in shape? Print out this list also and post it somewhere you will see it so it serves as a constant reminder. Also there are some ecigarettes you can use that contain no nicotine.
Plan a system of rewards for yourself. These can be little things like a new t-shirt, a favorite DVD you have been wanting, a dinner at a new restaurant with friends, whatever will motivate you. Set up a time span for awarding yourself each thing also. Make sure to reward yourself occasionally but especially after the first day you go without smoking and the first week you complete.
If your having a hard time and the urge for a cigarette is really becoming over whelming, WAIT. Delay yourself. Take deep breaths, drink a glass of water (or soda or juice), chew some gum, crunch a carrot or frozen grapes. Call your support people, visit a smoking cessation forum (it is a good idea to join one also, misery loves company), do whatever it takes but delay that cigarette, delay, delay, delay, delay. The urge will pass, do these things every time the urge hits.
Keep thinking “N.O.P.E.”, not one puff ever. Just keep thinking this as the urges become less and less. Do not think that because you haven’t smoked in a month one puff won’t hurt. It will, remember nicotine is an addiction and giving the body even a tiny dose wakes up the urges all over again.
There are a number of nicotine replacement systems on the market today (pills, lozenges and gum) and as you know electronic cigarettes such as e cigarettes. Some people swear that they work though because the physical act of smoking was the large part of the addiction for them. There is also medication available by prescription that is said to lessen the urges. Speak to your doctor about whether its right for you.
Above all else, think positive, you can do it. Take care, Christine.
Hey, I'm Christine and I was a smoker for 17 years. I heard about electronic cigarettes and decided to try them out. I tested about 8 of them before I found one I liked and actually worked. So I created this site to help other people who want to know more about electronic cigarettes but don't want to have to go through the trial and error of finding out which one works like I did.
